WA: Woman's body found in bush near picnic area
PERTH, April 22 AAP - Police are studying murder and missing persons files after abushwalker stumbled across a body in bushland near a popular picnic spot in Perth's Hills.
The bushwalker found the body, believed to be that of a woman, about 1.30pm (WST) yesterdayat the Farrell Grove picnic area at Mundaring, police said.
Forensic police and major crime detectives were examining the body, but would not makeclear how long they thought it had been in the bush.
"We're looking at a few months not a few years," a police spokesman said.
