IN the latest deposit scam to hit the country, fraudsters are tricking companies and business owners into repaying money "erroneously paid" into their bank accounts by Multisure, a company offering legal and funeral cover.

The letterhead is forged and the bank account into which victims are asked to repay the money does not belong to Multisure, its chief executive Denton Goodford has warned.

Goodford warned the public that the individuals featured on the letterhead, namely Keith Kumalo, Deon Schaik and Ronald Stephenson, were not in the employ of Multisure.
